Silent Art Auction
Proceeds benefit the Fulton County Humane Society
Teens were invited to create acrylic paintings of their choice. The library supplied the brushes, paint, and canvases in take-home kits. The teens returned their art to the library for a display and silent auction.
Anyone may bid on the art from July 6 through the 15th. Bidding ends July 15th at 2 pm.

Hotspots have arrived!
What are they?
Hotspots are mobile devices that connect to nearby cell towers (T-Mobile, in this case), just like a smartphone would. They then share their data connection with nearby WiFi-enabled devices.
Hotspots are available for checkout and can be put on hold. A signed patron agreement is needed before checkout.
Hotspot checkouts are limited to established adult patrons. Teens and kids can not check them out, nor can brand-new adult patrons.
Checkout period is 7 days.

Since 1999, November has been recognized as National Novel Writing Month.
This year, the Archbold Community Library is teaming up with the folks at NaNoWriMo.org and making it official. Libraries are great places to not only read, but write, too! We have the space, we have the seating, we have the outlets, we have the computers, we have the wifi, and we even have a covered drink policy!!
