Value of Your Library Visit

what is your library worth?

Perspective -- As defined by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, perspective is the capacity to view things in their true relations or relative importance

Use this calculator to estimate your monthly use and the value represented as opposed to buying/renting those same items. Then, compare that value with the amount of taxes you pay each year to support the library.

Enter in the left hand column the number of items or services you or someone in your family checks out or uses per week or month. Estimated retail value of each item or service (if purchased) will be calculated on the right. The total value of your library use is shown at the bottom of the worksheet.

Tip: Tab between entries and do not use commas.
