ILL update as of August 26, 2021
ILL is slow right now. Ohio libraries are experiencing major delays in delivery for items due to a change in courier service providers. You may submit your request through this form, but keep in mind that requests will definitely take longer to fill than usual due to unavoidable backlog. If you are a frequent user of ILL, you know that previously, you could generally expect most available items to arrive within 1-2 weeks of placing your request. That is not the case right now as a new statewide courier service takes over and works through the transition. By all means, please continue to use ILL; we just want to make sure you are aware of the wait time. You may call and check on your items' status (please be ready with the specific title you are inquiring about), but if you have not received a call or text or email from us, know that they are not here yet.
About ILL (Interlibrary Loan):
When the library does not have the material you need, we can usually find it for you at another library. You may place a request to receive an item through Interlibrary Loan (ILL) in several ways. You can complete an ILL form at the main desk of the library, complete the online form below, or call the library with your request.
In order to request materials through Interlibrary Loan, you must be a registered user of the library for at least 30 days. All requested items are delivered to our library and you are notified when your item has arrived. You then have 5 days to pick up the item.
