The Library is reopen with some restrictions.

The building has been open to the public following the completion of our roofing project, since July 6. Hours have been expanded on twice since then and we now offer some browsing hours on Saturdays from 9:30 am -1:30 pm, as well as extended browsing hours three nights a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 'til 7:30 pm. Hours on Wednesdays and Fridays are 9:30 am-5:30 pm.

Some things are going to look different.

You may notice that toys have been temporarily removed from the kids area, and some computers are blocked off. There are fewer chairs. The chairs that are available are mainly vinyl, so we can wipe them down easier, which we will be doing often.

All employees will be wearing masks for their protection as well as yours and we encourage you to wear a mask as well, in accordance with a state-wide mask mandate. Please do NOT COME TO THE LIBRARY if you are experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19. These include dry cough, chills or muscle pain, sore throat, headache, shortness of breath, or a fever.

Give other patrons and our employees space and practice social distancing. Make use of our two hands-free sanitizer dispenser. Browse with intention. Be patient with us as we work to implement new procedures. We are doing our best to keep you and ourselves safe and healthy. We are so happy to see you all!
