Families are invited to celebrate National Children's Book Week with us at the library on Saturday, May 4th from 10:30-11:30.
The Enchanted Entertainers will be performing the book, There Was an Old Mermaid Who Swallowed a Shark. We will also be eating grape seaweed, painting seahorses, and making mermaid puppets.
Children under 5 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Hi! My name is Sonya Huser and I'm excited to be joining the team at the Archbold Community Library as the new director! Despite the fact that my last name is pronounced "Hoosier," I am thrilled to move to Ohio to begin the next chapter in my career. I earned my Master of Library Science seven years ago from IU and for most of my professional career, I was a school librarian for the Muncie Community Schools in Muncie, IN. From the school library, I moved on to become a Youth Services Specialist for the Muncie Public Library.
