Hi! My name is Sonya Huser and I'm excited to be joining the team at the Archbold Community Library as the new director! Despite the fact that my last name is pronounced "Hoosier," I am thrilled to move to Ohio to begin the next chapter in my career. I earned my Master of Library Science seven years ago from IU and for most of my professional career, I was a school librarian for the Muncie Community Schools in Muncie, IN. From the school library, I moved on to become a Youth Services Specialist for the Muncie Public Library. I am definitely interested in getting people reading and learning from an early age, but I'm excited to be at the Archbold Community Library, where I will be able to work with not only young people, but teens, adults, and seniors as well!
