Who? What? Where? When?
The Archbold Community Library is seeking out local authors to participate in an author fair open house!
The open house will take place from 2-4:30 pm on Black Friday: November 27th, 2026 in conjunction with the Village's annual ChristmasFEST!
Participating local businesses will be open that day, welcoming visitors to different locations across downtown Archbold to meet local authors, take pictures with Santa, drink hot cocoa, decorate cookies, and more, preceding the Parade of Lights, which starts at 6:30 pm!
How the Author Fair Open House will work:
Authors will be set up at tables around the main reading room of the Library, where they can interact with patrons as well as sell and sign their books.
Patrons will be given an "author passport" as they come in to the Library, which will encourage them to meet the participating authors. Completed passports will be entered into drawings for prize packages.
Snacks will be provided in the Community Room of the Library.
