Cookin' by the Book: A Cooking Book Club

What is it? How does it work?

Cookin' by the Book is a new cooking book club!

Every month, we will each check out a copy of the same cookbook, cook a recipe from that book, and bring what we made to share at the meeting! It's a great way to find good recipes and try new foods! Members will "register" their recipe with the library so the library can provide copies of the recipes used to all members and make sure we're not all cooking the same thing.

When is it happening?

The first meeting is Thursday, May 25th at 7 pm in the Library's Community Room! Check out our first book, "Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat" by Samin Nosrat, today! NOTE that Thursday, May 25th is just an orientation for members. There (probably) won't be (much) food, but the book will definitely be available to checkout. Come to the meeting to get your questions answered and help us decide when we should have regular monthly meetups.
