Registration will begin for story times (designed for 2 year olds with a caregiver present) and story hours (for 3-5 year olds not yet in kindergarten).

Registration is set to run through January 13th, or when classes fill up, whichever happens first. 

On Tuesday, December 20th, children ages 3-8 are encouraged to bring one stuffed animal and blankie for a special party just for them! We'll sing songs, read stories, munch on teddy grahams, and tuck our little pal into bed at the library for the night with Ms. Martie. After the library lights go out, she will snap photos of the pals romping around the library getting into all types of mischief! Pick up your pal and photos Wednesday, Dec. 21 from 1pm-3pm. This program is ONLY For those that haven't attended one in the past.

The Library is teaming up with local authors to present a new annual program: "Shop Small Saturday with Local Authors" so that they can share with the world what they love most: BOOKS!

Eleven local authors will get the chance to speak about their latest works, sell them to the public, and sign books for those who are interested. This event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 26th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Archbold Community Library's Community Room.

There are two ways to participate in our Summer Reading Program.

Join Ms. Martie for a reading of Girl Vs. Squirrel and watch Squirrel Maze 2.0 by NASA scientist, Mark Rober, while snacking on yummy peanut butter chocolate acorns. Then make your own miniature Squirrel Maze out of recyclables. It's certain to be a squirrely good time! Registration is REQUIRED and limited to 12. 

Families with young children are invited to join Ms. Martie before the Festival of Lights for Craft and Cookie Decorating. No registration is required for this drop-in program.
