ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Lisa is a mother of three grown children and "Amma" to three grandchildren, ages 3, 2, and 1.  Lisa has dedicated her life to nurturing children and strengthening families.

With more than 20 years of experience as an early childhood educator, Lisa holds a pre-K–3 early childhood license and a master's degree in education. Lisa is also the founder of It All Matters, a nonprofit organization serving parents of babies and young children in Northwest Ohio.

Today, Lisa works with Wauseon Schools as a Family Support Educator and enjoys facilitating Bamboo Babies, a ten-session parent-empowerment series with co-facilitator April Beck. April and Lisa provide two cohorts a year to the community, free of cost due to donations to the nonprofit from generous Fulton County donors. Lisa is also enjoying facilitating Unplugged Beginnings: The Power of Presence, a puzzle experience that helps parents and grandparents understand the addictive potential of technology and the importance of prioritizing real-life relationships and foundational skills before screen time.

Lisa is the author of Soulfire, a story that encourages readers to put relationships first and embrace the lasting impact of meaningful human connection.
