Summer Reading is almost here! Program registration began May 1st and runs through the 31st. Slots fill fast, so don't delay! Whether you are participating in our reading challenge through Readerzone or attending special events at the library, there is something for everyone this summer as we Unearth A Story and explore all things Dinosaurs!
It all begins with our Cirque Amongus Kick-Off Event on June 2nd at 4:30 pm the Ruihley Park Pavilion. Families are encouraged to come and be amazed by an evening of talent, comedy, and circus entertainment! No registration is required, and all are welcome to attend regardless of Summer Reading participation!
More on the reading challenge:
This year, participation is tracked by how many minutes participants read.
Goals for the summer are:
Ages 2-6: 175 minutes of reading
Grades K-3: 210 minutes of reading
Grades 4-6: 280 minutes of reading
Grades 7-12: 420 minutes of reading
There are two ways you can sign up for the reading challenge. You can use the smart phone app, Reader Zone. Simply install the Reader Zone app on your Android, Apple, or Amazon device. Make an account and add your reader(s). Connect with the Archbold Community Library's program with the code:

The other way to register if you would rather not track minutes through an app, is by coming to the library or calling at 419-446-2783. We will set you up with a paper reading log (or if you already have one from the school, that works too,) but you still have to register with us at the library!
