How to manage your library account online:

Though patrons always have access to their accounts online, many are finding this more helpful than ever now that they can't come in to the building itself. Not only can you search the library catalog to see what is available here and now, but you can place your own holds and renew your own items.

The library catalog:

Here is a link to our online catalog. so you can see what we have here at the library.

How to Curbside!

The Archbold Community Library is still offering curbside service, though the building is open. We look forward to seeing you soon and hope that you'll take advantage of curbside service. We're here!

The Curbside Process:

Call the library M-F from 9-5 to place your holds or manage your account online, if you are able. Take a peek at our "New On Our Shelves" lists to see what has been added to the collection most recently.

The Library is reopen with some restrictions.

The building has been open to the public following the completion of our roofing project, since July 6. Hours have been expanded on twice since then and we now offer some browsing hours on Saturdays from 9:30 am -1:30 pm, as well as extended browsing hours three nights a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 'til 7:30 pm. Hours on Wednesdays and Fridays are 9:30 am-5:30 pm.

Some things are going to look different.

Tax Information

Because of a decision by the IRS to reduce the number of forms distributed to public libraries, we will have a limited selection of tax forms available at tax time. We can provide the basic group of Federal 1040 forms, but no Federal schedules. Even though we do not have many forms on hand, we can help you find a form to print from the IRS or State of Ohio website. However, library staff cannot help you determine the form you need. Any form that you print from the Internet will be charged at $.05 for a single-sided form; $.10 for a double-sided form.

Come meet Archbold's new library director!

Hi! My name is Sonya Huser and I'm excited to be joining the team at the Archbold Community Library as the new director! Despite the fact that my last name is pronounced "Hoosier," I am thrilled to move to Ohio to begin the next chapter in my career. I earned my Master of Library Science seven years ago from IU and for most of my professional career, I was a school librarian for the Muncie Community Schools in Muncie, IN. From the school library, I moved on to become a Youth Services Specialist for the Muncie Public Library.
